為了讓兩個女兒念大學，來自菲律賓的羅莉塔離鄉背井到台灣的安養院工作，她自我解嘲唱著「No Money, No Honey! 」羅莉塔在安養院認識了幾位同鄉，她們為台灣子女盡孝道，日復一日照顧衰老的身軀，獨自忍受在異國的寂寞。面對麵包與情感的兩難，她們該如何抉擇？
In order to send her two daughters to university, Lolita from the Philippines left her homeland and ventured to Taiwan to work at a nursing home. She self-deprecatingly sung, "No Money, No Honey!" Lolita befriended several fellow countrywomen at the nursing home, all of whom were there to cover the filial duty. Day after day, they cared for the frail bodies of the elderly, enduring the loneliness of being in a foreign land. Faced with the dilemma of "bread and love," how would they make their choices?
【導演介紹】
李靖惠 導演
李靖惠畢業於台南藝術大學音像紀錄研究所，目前擔任大葉大學視覺傳達設計學系的副教授。1996年，李靖惠的外婆外公先後住進安養院，這個經歷啟發她開始關注老人和女性的生命故事，並且持續創作她的「家國四部曲」系列作品。從家人照顧外祖父和外祖母的經驗，她的關注範圍逐漸擴展到其他家庭，最終延伸至跨國來台灣照顧老人的外籍看護工。
Lee Ching-hui
In 1996, Lee Ching-hui's grandparents successively entered nursing homes. This experience inspired her to start focusing on the life stories of the elderly and women, leading to her continuous creation of the "Homeland Quartet" series. Stemming from her family's care for her grandparents, her attention gradually expanded to encompass other families and eventually extended to foreign caregivers who come to Taiwan to care for the elderly, marking the culmination of her artistic exploration.
