彩色的雲霄飛車軌道上，藍天與綠蔭模糊，天旋地轉，世界在一瞬顛倒。17歲曾遭班上男同學跟騷、殺害未遂而倖存的導演，十餘載後重新回憶創傷事件。從當年事發的公車站為始，冷靜的口白自述經歷，接著親自尋訪事件相關人物，如學校老師、女同學、醫生、檢察官等。從私人的個案，轉向社會結構問題的討論；從直接施暴的加害者，擴及叩問那些沉默、旁觀的暴力。
本片巧妙地在保有距離的訪問對談，與私密且具身體感的第一人稱旁白間轉換。隧道燈光、遊樂園霓虹、不明色塊穿插片段閃爍的超8影像與迷你DV畫面，如同過去破碎的記憶，也如想像的夢境。致那些受傷、未能倖存的靈魂，這場派對裝載他們未熄的熠熠生命力。

Fourteen years after surviving an attempted femicide, a filmmaker looks back on the events of that time, seeking out memories and answers between Munich and Rio de Janeiro. Sometimes, I Imagine Them All at a Party is a personal film about the structures that permit violence against women—and about our responsibility to confront this problem. It tells of the power of small gestures and of carrying on after a violent experience—without bitterness or resentment but with a fitting and maybe even necessary amount of anger.
